OCTARA.COM FIFTH ISSUE
Welcome to another edition of octara.com with which we commemorate and celebrate one year of our magazine’s coming into being. The response from our readership, and indeed our advertisers, has been encouraging in the extreme, and has galvanized us onto renewed effort. Much as we would like to make a song and dance of the great amounts of blood, sweat and tears that have gone into making this publication possible, the truth of the matter is that it has all come together really quite effortlessly. The core business of Octara, that of corporate training, has generated a wealth of very pertinent knowledge, in the realm of human resource development in particular, which most certainly warrants further dissemination, placing us in the rather happy position where we can pick and choose our content. |

OCTARA.COM FOURTH ISSUE
Business today is hard pressed to carry on as usual. When it rains in Pakistan, it really pours, and I say this both literally and metaphorically. Having said that, ‘have umbrella, will travel.’ And by golly! Have we traveled in the past few months since the last edition of octara.com was published. Floods and bomb blasts not withstanding, Octara succeeded in notching up an impressive roster of events that catered to building of capacity in both the corporate world as well as the school system from which will be drawn the future warriors of many an epic boardroom battle. |

galaxy of international corporate trainers. Our entire effort is directed at adding value to the human resource that operates our corporate sector. In these difficult times that have seen vast swathes of the country inundated by unprecedented floods resulting in a colossal loss of human life and property, the act of generating a surplus has taken on urgent proportions.

OCTARA.COM SECOND ISSUE
Here we are with the second issue of octara.com, bang on schedule! Corporate publications are not normally under pressure to follow stringent timelines, not being in the publishing business as such. At OCTARA we like to think that we are also in the publishing business, along with being in the business of corporate training and the organizing of conferences. It’s great to see the octara.com’s rapid evolution, and thanks are in order to Adil and the creative team. It’s heartening to see the corporate training market gathering steam, and training becoming a high priority with progressive companies.

OCTARA.COM
With this publication OCTARA turns a new corner in its development as a business enterprise adding value to the human resource in the corporate sector of Pakistan. While our communication needs with our valued customer base were being amply met by a stream of flyers sent through express courier and e-mail, we always aspired to one day have our own proper publication wherein we could archive the many milestones that we keep passing on a regular basis. We are grateful for that time finally arriving, and here is octara.com presented for your perusing pleasure!
