National Sales Manager

    Job Purpose Octara Pvt Ltd. (A TCS Company) extensively engages in a series of exclusive learning & networking events/forums for business practitioners and industry leaders, is looking for a National Sales Manager to expand its reach, develop new clients and sponsor opportunities to maximize revenue at national level. The applicant should have a passion for consultative selling and should be driven to create solutions that over deliver on clients’ expectations. The candidate should be familiar with the overall industries, and be able to think outside the box to identify prospects and sell B2B learning solutions to achieve and exceed country wide sales targets in accordance with the sales plan.

    Main Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Account Management
  • Customer Retention
  • Sales Force Management
  • New Business
Qualification:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent from a reputed educational institute

  • Background Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

    Essential
  • Significant and successful experience in a sales role – at least having 5-7 years working experience
  • Computer literate and proficient in the use of commonly used business software
  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Attention to detail

  • Desirable
  • Awareness of B2B event production
  • Experience of growing and developing new markets and products
  • Relevant industry knowledge preferred but not mandatory
  • Understating of event cycles

    Sales Executive:

    • To drive through the sales process for selling customized and open enrollment programs to potential clients
    • To achieve pre-determined revenue and profit targets
    • To maintain existing and develop new customer relationships
    • To ensure and achieve maximum revenue

    Tele-Sales Executive:

    • To meet the agreed level of contact with existing accounts as maybe necessary to maintain/increase levels of business activity
    • To achieve agreed levels of cold calling activity to increase volume/revenue streams
    • To identify sales opportunities and effectively present key features and benefits of services to secure new business
    • Managing sales databases
    • To ensure that you have a knowledge of your own and competitor titles in order to achieve the requirements of this role
